Man killed in shooting in St. Paul, marking city’s 21st homicide this year

ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Paul police are investigating a fatal shooting late Saturday evening on the city’s north side.

According to St. Paul police, officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area of ​​Woodbridge Street and Wheelock Parkway just before 10 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man lying on the ground near the intersection with multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers administered first aid before the man was transported to Regions Hospital, where he died a short time later, according to police.

So far there have been no arrests.
