One suspect was arrested and two were hospitalized after an argument led to shooting at an apartment complex

SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for more suspects after a fight that turned into a shooting that left at least two injured.

Around 8:50 p.m. Saturday, police responded to reports that a shooting had occurred in an apartment complex parking lot near the corner of Presidio Parkway and Interplace Road on the Northwest Side.

When officers arrived, they discovered that there had been an unknown disturbance between several people in an apartment at the scene.

This fight escalated into a shootout between people in the apartment and other unknown people in the parking lot.

After the shooting, several people fled the apartment in a vehicle and several suspects fled the parking lot.

When police entered the apartment, they found a 16-year-old male suspect inside who was uninjured. This suspect was arrested at the scene.

One of the victims called police shortly afterwards and was found in his apartment with non-life-threatening injuries to a lower extremity.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, told officers he was walking his dog in the parking lot during the shooting, heard gunshots and realized he had been hit.

Another victim, a 42-year-old woman, also identified as a bystander, was found at a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper extremity.

The investigation is ongoing and police are still trying to determine what led to the shooting.
