A shooting early Saturday left one dead

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita police are investigating a shooting that killed a Wichita man early Saturday morning.

Wichita police identified the victim as 30-year-old Marco Gonzales-Arias.

Police said officers responded to a shooting in the area of ​​4200 S. Hydraulic, near MacArthur Road, just after midnight.

They found Gonzales-Arias with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to hospital where he later died.

The 22-year-old suspect fled the scene but was later found and arrested.

The case remains under investigation.
