BTS members are known for their warm brotherhood and they never miss an opportunity to showcase it. A few years ago, they publicly declared their love for Jimin at a concert in Saudi Arabia. Are you wondering how? As the K-pop idol turns 29 today, we go back in time to when he received the warmest surprise on his birthday.

Back in 2019, BTS gave a concert in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Jimin’s birthday was coming up and his bandmate decided to celebrate it in the most heartwarming way. Suddenly, they started singing the happy birthday song in Arabic, which took the Filter hitmaker completely by surprise. At first he was confused when he heard his name in the song, but he soon realized that this surprise celebration was something his beloved bandmates had planned for him.

He was immediately happy and smiled brightly. As he skipped across the stage with joy, the packed auditorium sang along to BTS, wishing Jimin a happy upcoming birthday.

When he calmed down a bit, he took the microphone to express his gratitude to his bandmates and ARMYs, commenting: “I think I forgot my birthday was coming up because I was so focused on meeting you guys here tonight. “But this is an amazing surprise!” Jimin didn’t hide his joy one bit and expressed how meaningful the night was for him.

It’s been 5 years since this moment happened, but it still remains a special memory for fans.

Meanwhile, today, October 13th, Jimin turns 29 years old. In addition to ARMYs, his bandmates also wished him on social media. The K-pop idol is currently away from home completing his military service. In December 2023, he signed up with Jungkook through the buddy program. The duo is now scheduled to be released in mid-June 2025.

On the work front, Jimin recently celebrated his highly anticipated solo comeback with his second album MUSE and the title track Who. The album became a huge success, climbing high on the music charts and cementing his reputation on the global music scene. Especially through Who and the previously released Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. LOCO), Jimin showed a completely new side of his art and captured the hearts of fans.
