Sexual assault suspect wanted by Windsor police

Windsor police are asking the public for information about a sexual assault investigation.

A person was allegedly sexually assaulted outside the Ford test track in east Windsor around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The attack was interrupted by a passerby in an older model pickup truck with a rear window sticker.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene after the bystander intervened.

The investigators are looking for an interview with the uninvolved person as a witness.

The suspect is described as a white man with a slim build, approximately 1.80 meters tall and weighing 77 kilograms, with an olive complexion and unkempt brown facial hair.

According to police, he was wearing blue, light-colored jeans, a black hoodie and white shoes at the time of the incident. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark sedan.
