Saturday’s incidents include an accident and a bushfire

Three fire companies battled a large brush fire in Montgomery Township last night. Cherry Tree firefighters were called to Pioneer Lake Road just after 7 p.m. and were soon joined by Glen Campbell and Commodore fire departments.

There is no police report yet on a crash last night in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township. It happened just before 8am and Clyde and Armagh/East Wheatfield firefighters responded.
