Israel-Gaza live updates: At least 29 people killed in Gaza, medics say, as Israel’s assault on the northern Gaza Strip continues

We are resuming our live coverage as Reuters news agency, citing medics, reports that at least 29 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the central and northern Gaza Strip on Saturday and overnight.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched another offensive in Jabalia a week ago, saying Hamas was trying to “restore” its infrastructure there.

According to health authorities in Gaza, an estimated 150 Palestinians were killed there last week.

Displaced people in the area say the Israeli military surrounded Jabalia and ordered them to flee through a corridor.

In southern Lebanon, Hezbollah said there were “clashes” early Sunday with Israeli soldiers who tried to advance into the village of Ramiya.

In a series of updates over the last ten hours, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said 15 people were killed yesterday in three Israeli strikes on Deir Bella, Al Maaysra and Barja.

In Israel, Hezbollah fired around 320 projectiles from Lebanon into Israel on Saturday, according to the IDF.
