Red Dead Redemption will be receiving a ton of brand new content soon

Things get wild in the Wild West

Red Dead Redemption Fans are looking forward to a lot of brand new content in Rockstar Games’ Wild West classic.

After over 14 years of waiting, Rockstar Games finally announced this Red Dead Redemption will be officially ported to the PC together with the expansion, Undead nightmare. Originally published in 2010, until recently fans of RDR I had to make do with emulation on the PC, but thankfully that will soon be a thing of the past.

Check out the Red Dead Redemption trailer below!

“Experience the story of former outlaw John Marston as he tracks down the last remaining members of the infamous Van der Linde gang in the PC debut of the critically acclaimed predecessor Red Dead Redemption 2,” is the description of the game.

This long-awaited PC port will come with exclusive features such as 4K resolution up to 144Hz, support for ultra and super ultrawide monitors, adjustable character spacing, shadow quality settings and much more. Arguably the best feature of all, however, will be the mod support.

With this in mind, fans are already excited at the prospect of releasing all sorts of mods Red Dead Redemption. “LET’S GO!!!! The mods are going to be great,” said Fragrant_Inside_9842.

“I can’t wait to see the graphics mods,” exclaimed babygronkinohio, and KoiTheFish420 added, “Incorporate graphics mods and find a way to add them.” RDR on RDR2so you play the whole story in one.”

“Trying to combine two games with versions of RAGE developed for different generations of the console will be difficult,” explained Incachu, bringing expectations down to earth. “RDR2 brought many graphical and physical innovations that simply would not have been possible with a 2010 game engine or hardware.”

Nonetheless, we can’t wait to see what the modding community comes up with, be it improved graphics or new content. Damn, I hope to see it Resident Evil 3 Nemesis in Undead nightmare.

Red Dead Redemption And Undead nightmare will officially appear on PC on October 29, 2024.
