Tragic accident: Idol immersion celebration turns fatal

A man tragically died and three others were seriously injured in an electrocution accident on the Rasra-Kasimabad highway, police reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening when four people were returning from an idol immersion event. Rasra region district official Mohammad Fahim Qureshi confirmed the details.

The group was sitting on a music box in the vehicle when it crashed into an overhead cable. Vishal Sharma, 27, was pronounced dead on arrival at Rasra Community Health Centre. The injured survivors are currently receiving treatment at a local hospital while the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem.
