Bay Minette Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WALA) – Bay Minette Police said they are investigating a fatal shooting in the area of ​​East Banyan Street.

Officers said they responded to the scene at 7:58 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and discovered a male subject suffering from a gunshot wound.

According to officials, the man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Investigators said they have a suspect in custody but have not filed charges.
