Stepmother arrested for allegedly stabbing her stepson during a domestic dispute in To Kwa Wan

October 13, 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 10:25 a.m. today, police received a report from a man of a violent incident at Fook Chi Building, 135 Kowloon City Road, To Kwa Wan. The report states that an argument occurred between a son and his stepmother, during which the stepmother allegedly attacked the son with a knife, resulting in an injury to his left index finger.

Police officers were quickly on scene and arrested a 49-year-old woman on charges of assault. The arrested person reported discomfort in the head and stomach area, but did not require hospitalization. The injured man was now conscious and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

It has been confirmed that the people involved are in a stepmother-stepson relationship. Police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident, which has been assigned to the Kowloon District Criminal Investigation Department Sixth Team.
