Israel could attack Iranian military and energy facilities, claims report

Israel is likely to strike Iranian military and energy facilities in response to the Islamic Republic’s Oct. 1 attack, NBC said Saturday, citing U.S. officials.

While the officials noted that Israel has “narrowed down” the targets of its possible attack, they also reiterated that it is currently unclear when and by what means the attack will take place.

In fact, US sources said Israel had not informed them of its schedule.

According to the report, officials also claimed that Israel was not prepared to attack nuclear infrastructure or carry out targeted assassinations.

Iran’s attack

On October 1, Iran fired about 180 ballistic missiles at Israel.

Israel has promised to respond to the Islamic Republic’s attack.

The last Iranian attack on Israel occurred in April, when Iran fired more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel.
