Pedestrian struck and killed in early Friday morning crash on Hesperia Road – VVNG.com

HESPERIA, California (VVNG.com) – A portion of Hesperia Road was closed early Friday morning for an investigation into a fatal crash.

It happened on October 11, 2024 at around 4:13 a.m. near Eucalyptus Street in the town of Hesperia.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the collision involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Rodriguez said that according to preliminary information, the pedestrian was walking in the lane when he was hit by a pickup truck.

The driver of the Nissan pickup remained at the scene. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Hesperia Road was closed in both directions for several hours while officers investigated. The gender or identity of the deceased pedestrian could not be revealed at the time of publication of this article.
