In terms of new franchises that have come out in the last decade, the Knife out Films could be among the most promising. The market has always been for secrets; There’s a reason why they’re considered timeless, but someone had to change a few things to adapt them to modern times. The best thing about franchises like this is that the only person you have to worry about permanently returning is your protagonist, and after that, you’re golden. These films are a joy to put together some fantastic actors. We know that a third film is on the way, and its title is Wake up, dead manbut we don’t have much about the plot. However, one of the cast members shared how much he enjoyed the production, which ended in August. Josh Brolin revealed that he plays a priest in the film and revealed to Total Film that he had basically manifested his casting.

“Rian [Johnson] is probably my new favorite director. It was one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. Incredible cast. I play a priest. My wife reminded me… She said, ‘Remember a year ago you said you wanted to play a priest?’ It’s like you manifest that shit.'”

While Glass onion wasn’t as good as Knife outit was still a solid film and one of the rare Netflix films that got a damn decent theatrical release. Given the track record of the previous films, there’s a good chance we’ll see Brolin and the rest of the cast Wake up, dead man in theaters when the film hits theaters next year, along with its release on Netflix.

We knew a Knives Out movie would be coming to Netflix for a while, and learned earlier this year that the film would be titled ” Wake Up Dead Nan: A “Knives Out” Crime Story would go into production. However, other than that, we knew very little until May. Director and author Rian Johnson took the time to share the film’s logo and official title on his official X/Twitter. They’re still keeping the “A Knives Out Mystery” part, even though Johnson has said he doesn’t like it, and he revealed they’re “very close” to starting production. In mid-August, Johnson confirmed production of the new one Knife out The film was wrapped.

Johnson said during the announcement: “I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole spectrum of sounds from Carr to Christie, and exploring that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc films.” New cast members so far include Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, And Thomas Haden Church, with Daniel Craig take on his role again. Wake up, dead man will be released sometime in 2025.
