Several injured, including teenagers, after two-car accident in Philadelphia; 2 wanted

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police are investigating after several people, including teenagers, were injured in a crash Friday evening.

It happened at Susquehanna Avenue and Woodstock Street around 10:30 p.m.

According to police, a Hyundai traveling north on Woodstock Street struck a Nissan heading west on Susquehanna Avenue.

According to investigators, there were five teenagers in the Hyundai. After the accident, two of them reportedly fled the scene on foot while the other three teenagers were trapped in the back seat.

According to authorities, the young people trapped were 13, 13 and 17 years old.

They were taken to Saint Christopher’s Hospital in critical condition.

According to officials, there were four people in the Nissan, including two children, all of whom were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

There is no information yet about what may have led to this crash or whether charges will be filed.

Police are still looking for the two teenagers who escaped from the Hyundai.
