Multiple people injured after stolen car flees FHP and collides with another vehicle

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Several people were hospitalized in Orange County after troopers pursued a vehicle that collided with another vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to police, the accident occurred Saturday afternoon on North Hiawassee Road, north of West Colonial Drive.

According to a preliminary crash investigation, a Honda Accord was “actively fleeing” from officers. The Honda was later identified as stolen.

According to the FHP, the Honda crashed into a Nissan Sentra at some point during the pursuit.

According to police, the suspect driving the stolen vehicle and the occupants of both vehicles were taken to area hospitals.

According to investigators, this is an ongoing criminal investigation in which charges are still pending.
