One man was shot and another stabbed at an apartment complex in south Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Police and emergency services responded to a shooting in south Wichita just after midnight Saturday morning.

Wichita police said a shooting call came in from the 4200 block of S. Hydraulic around 12:03 p.m. This is the Emery Gardens apartment complex.

At the scene, police found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

During an investigation, police discovered that another man involved in the altercation had been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating what led to the incident.
