Burlington police are investigating shots fired downtown

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Burlington police are investigating after shots were fired downtown.

Police said they received two calls around 11 last night reporting shots fired near Pine Street.

At first they couldn’t find any evidence, victims or witnesses.

But with the help of Essex police, they later found several shell casings near Battery Street and Main Street.
