LionRock Café will be permanently closed

The LionRock Café at 13 Dawson Ave. in Rockville announced via social media that it will soon be closing its doors (once the restaurant runs out of food and beverage options).

The restaurant opened in late November 2023 in the space previously occupied by Hunan To Go. Concerned readers mentioned that the restaurant was recently available on Facebook Marketplace, but the restaurant confirmed the closure with the following message:

“A big thank you to our LionRock supporters! From day one, your support has meant a lot to us. As we approach the end of this chapter, we would like to inform you that all of our food and drinks will be available until everything is sold out.

We would love for you to visit us, take a photo with us and leave a message to preserve the memories we shared at LionRock Café. Let’s celebrate the moments and flavors we enjoyed together. Come and say goodbye before we close our doors – we will miss you all!” Photo courtesy of Google Maps
