Police are searching for a suspect in a road rage shooting in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Police are searching for a person allegedly involved in a road rage incident that occurred Friday evening in Montgomery County.

Around 10:40 a.m. on Oct. 11, a person was traveling northbound on I-270 south of West Montgomery Village when another person allegedly asked them to stop, Maryland State Police officials have learned.

The person refused to stop and the suspect then fired into the victim’s car, officials said.

The suspect was reportedly driving a newer green pickup truck.
