Enosburg man arrested for aggravated assault with a pellet gun

ENOSBURG — A Richford man was arrested on aggravated assault charges after he allegedly shot his neighbor with a pellet gun, Vermont State Police reported.

According to authorities, on Oct. 11 at 3:29 p.m., officers responded to a call from Christopher Gagne, 35, also of Richford, claiming he had been shot by Rene Robitaille, 42.

The incident occurred on School St. in Enosburg.

After an investigation and witness statements, officers arrested Robitaille.

He was ordered to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Oct. 14 at 1 p.m
