2 men injured in separate shooting in North Philly: Police – NBC10 Philadelphia

Two men are recovering after two separate shootings in North Philadelphia on Saturday.

The first incident occurred in the 1200 block of North Hollywood Street around 3 p.m., police said.

When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left cheek. The victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and is in stable condition, according to police.

The second shooting occurred in the 2500 block of North Jessup Street around 3:12 p.m.

At this location, police found a man, whose identity is currently unknown, who had been shot once in the stomach. Police transported the victim to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Both crime scenes are currently being monitored by police and there are currently no arrests or weapons recovered.
