Fight at Mayfair Mall; A person suffers a self-inflicted stab wound

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – One person was stabbed in the leg during a fight at Mayfair Mall on Thursday, October 10.

Wauwatosa police said it happened in the vestibule on the north side of Macy’s just before 7:30 p.m.

It was determined that a physical altercation occurred between two people who knew each other. One of the people had a knife and suffered a self-inflicted stab wound to the leg during the altercation.

The knife was recovered at the scene. The person was taken to hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
