Spartanburg coach arrested for assault during high school football game

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A member of the coaching staff at an upstate charter school was arrested during a high school football game Friday, police said.

Torrion Jabree Stevenson, who works at Mountain View Preparatory in Spartanburg, is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, according to Inman police.

The MVP football team was playing against the Chapman Panthers varsity team when the arrest occurred.
