“My New Favorite Show of 2024” was just canceled by Netflix

OK, so the preview of the star-studded Netflix show Kaos left me extremely confused. A show about Greek mythology in modern times? Is this… a comedy? A drama? Will it be as boring as the last time I had to read Greek mythology (university)?

Despite my initial concerns, something about Kaos piqued my interest, at least enough to try out the first episode. But then I immediately jumped into the second episode. And the third. And in a single weekend I had binged the entire first season and was already hungry for it Kaos Season two is coming. But unfortunately the second season wasn’t meant to be like that.

Accordingly deadlineNetflix has made a decision not to renew my new favorite show of 2024 and cancel it after just one season. I swear I’m not as crazy as Jeff Goldblum’s Zeus in the series, but I am deeply disappointed. Still, I highly recommend watching the first season (I promise it still comes to a satisfying conclusion, even if I wish there was more). Here’s why.
