Trump rails against the death penalty when asked about raising his children

Kamala Harris has released a health review from her White House doctor that says she “possesses the physical and mental resilience necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the presidency.”

In the summary released Saturday morning, the vice president’s doctor, Joshua Simmons, wrote that she was in “excellent health.”

Harris is releasing her medical information to challenge Donald Trump, whose health and age are under increasing scrutiny.

Former Trump ally Chris Christie is the latest to raise the alarm about Trump’s competence to hold office, saying he has seen “significant” mental decline in the former president.

On Friday, Trump pushed for stronger anti-immigrant rhetoric at his rallies in Reno, Nevada, and Aurora, Colorado. He called for the death penalty for migrants who kill American citizens and said he would enact the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

Mike Coffman, Aurora’s Republican mayor, criticized the comments, stressing that neither the city nor the state had been “taken over” or “invaded” or “occupied” by migrant gangs.

Biden says he will approve Trump’s request for military aircraft for the campaign as the election approaches

President Joe Biden told reporters that he would happily agree to Donald Trump’s request to use military aircraft in the final stages of the campaign as long as “he doesn’t ask for F-15s,” ABC News reports.

“Look, what I told the department is to give him everything he needs to do his job — as if he were a sitting president,” he said. “Give him everything he needs. If it fits into that category, that’s fine. But it doesn’t, he shouldn’t do it.”

Here’s our report on the former president’s call for major protections on the campaign trail.

How Melania Trump’s book lays the foundation for her businesswoman’s renewal

The first image posted was captivating, an ethereal watercolor depiction that showed only Melania Trump’s eyes – specifically identified as cobalt blue – stares intently from her personal Instagram page.

The design, the accompanying December 2021 announcement says, is the start of Melania’s new line of digital cryptocurrency artworks — NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, essentially online collectibles designed to retain value.

And significantly, alongside this intense eye shot was the first mention of MelaniaTrump.com on the Instagram account.

Up until that point, @melaniatrump — which was created eight months earlier, a day after the former first lady posted her farewell message to the American people on her now-archived FLOTUS account — had occasionally posted messages promoting patriotism and her approach to fighting white House reflected cyberbullying and foster care support.

However, the elegant and sexy eye artwork marked a departure – and the gentle launch of a newly revamped “Melania brand”.

Harris is trying to solve her Latino problem

The divide highlights the thorny path Harris must navigate when it comes to immigration reform and Latino outreach. For decades, Democrats believed that Republicans’ anti-immigrant stance would make it impossible for them to win over a population that came largely to the United States as migrants. But the data didn’t confirm that.

Gateway Pundit admits there was no voter fraud in Georgia in 2020 after reaching a settlement with election officials

The Gateway Expert has released a statement on its website acknowledging that there was no voter fraud in Georgia’s 2020 election and that Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss have been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Georgia officials concluded there was no widespread voter fraud by election workers counting ballots at the State Farm Arena in November 2020. The results of this investigation indicate that Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss did not commit voter fraud or criminal misconduct while working at the State Farm Arena on election night. A legal matter involving this news organization and the two election officials was resolved through a fair and reasonable settlement to the mutual satisfaction of the parties.

The two election officials reached a settlement in their defamation lawsuit against the Missouri-based conservative website that falsely accused them of fraud in the 2020 presidential election, according to a court filing earlier this week.

The lawsuit against The Gateway Experthis owner Jim Hoft and his brother Joe Hoft “was resolved to the parties’ mutual satisfaction through a fair and reasonable settlement,” attorneys for Freeman and Moss said Friday.

After mocking Harris for using teleprompters, Trump stops the rally to remove a sign that fell on him

After mocking Vice President Kamala Harris for her teleprompter use, Donald Trump’s rally in Reno, Nevada came to a halt as he was forced to repair his face on stage after a campaign sign fell on it.

“Thank God I don’t use teleprompters too much,” Trump told rally attendees after the sign fell on the teleprompter and the script’s showing was interrupted. “I look at the teleprompter, it’s completely gone. I’m like, ‘What the hell happened?’ The sign fell on it.”

Ariana Baio has the story.

Trump’s campaign is re-issuing a year-long medical report in response to Harris’ release

Following the release of Kamala Harris’ latest medical report, the Trump campaign responded by releasing the former president’s medical reports… sort of.

A statement from Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung said:

President Trump has voluntarily provided updates from his personal doctor as well as detailed reports from Dr. Ronny Jackson, who treated him after the first assassination attempt, released. Everyone has concluded that he is in perfect and excellent health to become Commander-in-Chief. He has maintained an extremely busy and active campaign schedule like no other in political history, while Kamala Harris has been unable to keep up with the demands of the campaign, revealing daily that she is completely out for the office of President of the United States is unsuitable. Her schedule is much tighter because she reportedly doesn’t have the stamina of President Trump. Surveys reflect this.

Linked below are two letters from Rep. Ronny Jackson, Trump’s former doctor, about the wound on the former president’s ear after the assassination, as well as a letter from Trump’s current doctor that contains little detail and is dated November 20, 2023.

A new poll shows Trump with a commanding lead in Arizona, while Harris holds the lead in Pennsylvania

With just over three weeks until Election Day, two new polls in the key battleground states of Arizona and Pennsylvania show very different stories for the Harris and Trump campaigns.

Among likely voters in Arizona, Trump has 51 percent of voters compared to Harris’s 46 percent, while 2,000 miles away in Pennsylvania, the vice president appears to be widening a 50 percent lead to Trump’s 47 percent, having already held sway in that state since 2018 is at the top for the third survey in a row.

However, that is Just notes that neither candidate can rest on their laurels in the coming weeks:

Victory is not certain for either candidate in either state. Other surveys by reputable pollsters have shown tighter races in both states. According to New York Times polling averages, Mr. Trump is ahead by just two percentage points in Arizona, and Ms. Harris is ahead by just one point in Pennsylvania.

There are also closely contested Senate races in both states, with the Democratic candidate having a clear advantage in each, according to the new poll.

In Pennsylvania, Sen. Bob Casey, a Democrat, narrowly leads David McCormick, a Republican businessman, 48 percent to 44 percent. Mr. McCormick’s gap has fallen to four points from nine points last month, and 8 percent of voters said they were still undecided.

In the Senate race in Arizona, Democratic candidate Ruben Gallego maintained his lead over Kari Lake, a former television host and outspoken Trump ally, 48 percent to 41 percent. But a fairly large portion of voters, 10 percent, said they were still undecided.

Harris was asked to name three of Trump’s “virtues.” She couldn’t

Vice President Kamala Harris couldn’t think of three virtues about former President Donald Trump when asked to do so at a Univision town hall event on Thursday night.

The Democratic presidential candidate laughed when she heard an audience member’s question and immediately shared a negative quality about Trump that she doesn’t like.
