Stabbing in Hanley town center leads to man’s arrest

Police have arrested a man after he was stabbed during a disturbance in a Stoke-on-Trent town.

Emergency crews were called to Parliament Row in Hanley just after 11:20am BST, Staffordshire Police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

A 23-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, possession of a knife, possession of heroin and possession with intent to supply cannabis, police added.
