Child run over in ‘tragic’ hayride accident, Chattanooga haunted attraction

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – A child was injured in an accident at the Haunted Hilltop attraction on Highway 58 on Friday.

According to the attraction’s Facebook page, a small child hid in the bushes as the hayride attraction passed by.

The Haunted Hilltop says the boy then jumped out and tried to climb onto the side of the trailer but was fatally run over.

In a comment under the attraction’s original post, Haunted Hilltop says

The customers on the hayride didn’t even realize what had happened.

The Haunted Hilltop attraction is now asking for privacy for the grieving family.

We have reached out to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for comment.
