Doniphan, Missouri man killed in car accident

BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to a fatal crash in Butler County early Saturday morning.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. on October 12th on Highway M, just 5 miles west of Poplar Bluff.

According to MSHP, an SUV driven by 54-year-old Perry D. Walk of Doniphan was traveling westbound on the highway when it went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and rolled over.

Walk died in the crash. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

This is the 50th fatal crash in the Troop E region in 2024.
