Shooting at a party in Oklahoma City left 1 person dead and at least 12 injured

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A shooting at a party at an event center in Oklahoma left one person dead and 12 others injured, police said.

A disturbance led to multiple shots being fired inside and outside the private venue in southwest Oklahoma City around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Capt. Valerie Littlejohn of the Oklahoma City Police Department said in an email.

Littlejohn could not immediately provide any information about the victims, other than to say that at least two were in critical condition at a hospital.

The suspects have not yet been identified, but several people were arrested after the shooting and investigators were interviewing witnesses, Littlejohn said.
