The Spartanburg Co. coroner identifies the accident victim, who died three weeks later

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified a victim who died three weeks after a fatal accident.

The coroner reports that 67-year-old Bruce Griffin Rhyne of Inman died Saturday, three weeks after a single-vehicle crash on Sandy Ford Road in Chesnee on Sept. 21.

Rhyne has been hospitalized since the accident, the coroner said.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol was responsible for the investigation.
