Sinclairville woman dies in crash Thursday afternoon | News, sports, jobs

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 394 and Gerry Levant Road on Thursday at 4:16 p.m.

At approximately 3:31 p.m., New York State Police were called to the town of Ellicott for a report of a two-vehicle accident.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2015 Nissan Sentra, driven by Jacqueline C. Visker, 41, of Kennedy, was traveling east on State Route 394.

During the investigation, it was determined that a 2010 Toyota, driven by Lori L. Maloy, 66, of Warren, Pennsylvania, with a passenger, Virginia L. Maloy, 95, of Sinclairville, was traveling north on State Route 394 when She stopped at a stop sign and then turned into Visker’s path.

Virginia Maloy died at the scene.

Visker and Lori Maloy were transported to UPMC Chautauqua for evaluation.

The investigation is ongoing.

First responders were on scene for several hours Thursday, with traffic being diverted around the scene via Lindquist Drive and County Route 65 while the crash investigation continued. Kennedy’s volunteer firefighters helped.
