St. Xavier High School teacher fired, investigation ongoing

“Caring for the student and his family remains the school’s top priority during this most difficult time,” the school’s official statement said.

St. Xavier High School is an all-boys Catholic college preparatory school. It was founded in 1831 and currently serves more than 1,300 students. The campus is located in Finneytown.

Springfield Township police said the school notified investigators Wednesday of “possible inappropriate contact and communication between a staff member and a student.”
