GloRilla will headline Jackson State Entertainment’s homecoming festivities

Jackson State University is hosting a house party-themed homecoming celebration that will feature a popular rap star.

GloRilla will perform at the Lee E. Williams Athletic & Assembly Center on Wednesday, Oct. 30, the school announced. A second artist will be announced on Friday, October 18th.

“Homecoming 2024 celebrates the spirit and traditions that make Jackson State University unique,” ​​said Dr. Jonas Vanderbilt, vice president for student affairs and chair of the Homecoming Committee.

“This year’s theme, ‘Thee House Party,’ captures the energy and community that defines the JSU experience. We invite students, alumni and friends to a week of events that celebrate our heritage, showcase our creativity and bring us together in Tiger pride.”

Concert details: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. General admission tickets are on sale now for $60. All residential and overseas students can purchase tickets for just $25 via a link sent to their JSU email accounts on Wednesday, October 16th. There is a limit of one ticket per student.
