Policewoman: Tragic death of a policewoman in a traffic accident

Kendrapada: A policewoman, Suru Jamunda (26), from Tirtol Police Station In Jagatsinghpur district was fatally crushed by the wheels of a bus on Friday.
The incident took place at Sarani Chhack on Cuttack-Paradip SH when Jamunda was riding her two-wheeler towards Tirtol.
Authorities transported the body to the district headquarters hospital in Jagatsinghpur. “The accused driver of the bus has been booked for rash and negligent driving and death by negligence,” said Abhimanyu Nayak, IIC, Tirtol police station. The bus was also confiscated.
