Rapid City police arrest a man who allegedly committed at least five burglaries downtown

RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – Rapid City police arrested a man at Faith Temple Church around 4:30 a.m. Friday when he allegedly tried to break in.

A police department spokesman said they found evidence linking the man to four other burglaries – another at Faith Temple Church, one at The Marketplace on 7th and two at Aby’s. Police are withholding the man’s name while an investigation into possible accomplices continues.

According to a statement from the Rapid City Police Department, the man had keys to Faith Temple Church and a meth pipe at the time of his arrest.
