A new surfing thriller is reportedly set to film in Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Oscar winner Kevin Costner will reportedly begin pre-production on his latest film in Hawaii next month.

The surfing thriller “Headhunters” is actually set in Bali, Indonesia.

The 69-year-old is the author, producer and actor of the film.

Costner will reportedly play an American ex-patriot living in Bali who recruits a group of surfers to find a “perfect wave.”

The journey leads to an unknown island protected by an ancient tribe of headhunters.

Daniel Zovatto will reportedly play the lead role.

Casting is underway.
