Police say a man is critically injured in a shooting on Poplar Avenue

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that left a man critically injured.

At approximately 8:16 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on Poplar Avenue near Colonial Road.

When police arrived, they discovered a man had been shot.

The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

There is currently no suspect information.
