Two injured in helicopter crash in Plymouth cornfield

PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WSBT) — Two people are injured after a helicopter crashed into a cornfield in Plymouth this evening.

Both passengers suffered minor injuries but were taken to hospital for further evaluation.

The accident occurred in a cornfield on Lilac Road, east of Plymouth Municipal Airport, around 5 p.m. Friday.

Upon arrival, the Plymouth Fire Department located the helicopter and passengers.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
