Kansas City Scout says emergency crews were called to the area of ​​Highway 69 and Antioch Road just after 5:01 p.m. on Friday, October 11th. with reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

The estimated time of the evacuation was shortly after 6:55 p.m. However, as of 7:15 p.m., police officers remained in the area while emergency services continued to clear the scene. Cameras in the area show a large presence of first responders with vehicles held back for miles.

Highway 69 appeared to be congested between I-435 and Blue Valley Pkwy. No further information was released.
