New thrilling TV show brings strangers together to climb a mountain in the Alps

Filmed in the Southern Alps of New Zealand, a group of strangers from diverse backgrounds come together for the chance to win a whopping $1 million cash prize. However, to get the money, they must work together to successfully climb an intimidating mountain.

Not only do they have to climb the mountain together, but they also only have 14 days to do so. If the team doesn’t complete the challenge within the 14-day deadline, everyone will go home empty-handed.

The show’s host, Manu Bennett, will meet the team at various locations throughout their journey to accompany them and provide updates. However, the climbing team must carry their own equipment and find their way using a map.

The group starts with 16 people, consisting of men and women. Each person carries a backpack full of necessary equipment and a portion of the $1 million prize.

On the way up the mountain, the team must reach checkpoints in the camp. While reaching a checkpoint is exciting, there’s a twist: at each point, one member of the group must be voted out of the group. The teammate who is voted out goes home and loses their money, which is then divided equally among the remaining group members. As a result, only a few participants make it to the summit and bring home money.

Climbing this mountain will not be an easy task for the group. On the way they will encounter several obstacles that will push them to their limits. Each obstacle incorporates the elements of height, mental and physical strength, balance and cooperation. To successfully reach the summit, the team must work together and keep their eyes on the prize.

“The Summit” is available to stream on CBS, Amazon Prime, Paramount+ and Hulu Premium. New episodes are released every Wednesday, with the next episode airing on October 16th.
