Fenton man dead after crash

ALGER, Mich. – A 76-year-old Fenton man died after he lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road Thursday morning.

After the vehicle left the road, it rolled over several times.

Several good Samaritans stopped to provide first aid to the driver before first responders arrived.

The driver was flown to an upstate hospital where he was treated before succumbing to his injuries.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
