Police: Ft. Bliss man died after speeding and motorcycle accident while traveling by air

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – 22-year-old Ft. Bliss resident Alexis Montalvo died after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

Special traffic investigators with the El Paso Police Department say speed was a factor in the crash.

Investigators state that on October 8, 2024, at 11:19 p.m., Montalvo was driving west on the 1900 block of Airway Boulevard when he lost control while negotiating a curve and plowed through the center median.

Montalvo flew from the motorcycle and died from the serious injuries he sustained in the accident.

Police officials say this is the 52nd traffic fatality of the year, compared to 56 this time last year.
