Man wanted for sexual assault and kidnapping arrested in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A man wanted for aggravated sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping has been arrested.

Officers arrested 27-year-old Roman Aranda.

Aranda was wanted for aggravated sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping/sexual abuse.

Officers made contact with Aranda at his home and took him into custody without incident.

Aranda was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center without bail for a probation violation.

Aranda was previously arrested for drunken driving after a collision with a sheriff’s office trooper on Interstate 10.
