Second person arrested in brutal stabbing of restaurant owner’s wife in Cumberland County

A second person has been charged in the stabbing of a 36-year-old woman who police found lying in a pool of blood in her driveway in June.

According to authorities, the stabbing attack occurred around 11:25 p.m. on June 28 at the victim’s home in the first block of Gettysburg Pike

According to his affidavit, Amgad Hanna was one of the two suspects involved in the attack on the woman, who was the wife of Hanna’s former employer for the restaurant where he worked.

Now, Upper Allen Police officials confirmed Friday that the second suspect, 27-year-old Defid Rezk, was arrested by U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and taken into custody in Harrisburg.

He is currently charged with robbery, burglary, attempted burglary, simple assault and theft by unlawful taking.
