Employee Pepper castrates man during argument, leading to fatal shooting in Henderson

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson police said an argument led to a fatal shooting Thursday.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 10:04 a.m. in the 200 block of West Warm Springs Road near Boulder Highway.

Investigators learned that a 25-year-old man had been arguing with a 29-year-old employee. The employee asked the man to leave the property and sprayed him with pepper spray.

The argument continued and resulted in the employee using his firearm and firing several shots.

Henderson police and emergency medical services arrived at the scene, but despite life-saving measures, the 25-year-old died.

According to police, no other injuries were reported. The employee is cooperative with the investigation.

The criminal police assume that it is a murder.

“As this is an open and ongoing investigation, no further details will be released at this time,” police said. “The identity of the victim and the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office upon notification of next of kin.”

This is being investigated as the seventh homicide for the City of Henderson in 2024.
