Tragic incident at Quarto school: 10-year-old boy dies

The carabinieri of the Quarto station intervened at the Borsellino Institute in Via Crocillo following the death of a 10-year-old boy. According to reports, during the break the boy suddenly collapsed to the ground and lost consciousness. Unfortunately, despite attempts at resuscitation by medical staff, it was not possible to save his life. The duty prosecutor of the Naples Public Prosecutor’s Office and the forensic pathologist were present at the scene. The judge ordered the body seized for a subsequent autopsy. The coroner is currently ruling out suffocation, but the autopsy will provide certainty.
