Serious injuries have been reported in a motorcycle accident in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – An accident involving a motorcycle resulted in one person being hospitalized with serious injuries Friday morning.

The Horry County Fire Department was responding to the area of Highway 90 and International Drive just before 8:30 a.m. when the two-vehicle collision occurred.

HCFR said traffic lanes in the area were closed.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
