West Lafayette man arrested on suspicion of child pornography

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – According to police, a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led West Lafayette police to the home of Lyndon Tykeith Walker on Wednesday.

The tip came in on Oct. 1 and indicated someone may be transmitting child pornography, according to police.

Officers obtained a search warrant for Walker’s home in the 300 block of Brown Street, where they arrested Walker.

After the search, police arrested Walker, 33, on suspicion of possession of child pornography. He is also suspected of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

He remained incarcerated at the Tippecanoe County Jail Thursday without bail, according to jail records.
