1 dead in officer-involved shooting in northwest OKC

A woman was killed in an officer-involved shooting late Thursday night in northwest Oklahoma City, according to Oklahoma City police.

According to police, the shooting occurred near Northwest 122nd Street and MacArthur Boulevard.

According to OCPD, the woman fired before officers fired. Police say it’s unclear whether she shot at someone or whether she fired into the air.

The woman was shot and died after being transported to the hospital.

According to OCPD, no other people were injured in the shooting.
